The bowls were bought by my mother in NYC about 50 years ago. Some have a PG stamp, others have a G. Four of the bowls don't have the black and white print stamp on the back, just the G or PG. There are other stamps that I can't make out. Several of the bowls are discolored from age I assume, which makes me think they are quite old. One has a misprint on the edge. I have been petrified to use them.
If anyone has information about these, I would appreciate it. My mother died in 1972, and didn't tell me anything about them, just that she bought them in an antique shop in the city.

      Thomas Elsmore & Son, formerly Elsmore & Forster, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England 1872 -1887 -- http://www.thepotteries.org/allpotters/386.htm
Apparently, information is a little vague - if you note on the above link, the mark at the very bottom doesn't include "Imperial" and also has "England" underneath. But then at the top of this page it says "Thomas Elsmore & Son used the word England pre-1891" and they are noted as going out of business in 1887?? - the only other example of your pattern I could find is on a pitcher and basin shown here - https://www.pinterest.com/pin/24277285463958694/
I think it would be safe to date your bowls as circa 1880's

Thank you so much for giving me that much information. The bowls seem confusing - such as why do some bowls not have the black stamp while others do, and why do some have the G and some PG - perhaps the era was known for inconsistencies?!?
      Thanks again!!
