Visiting my 89 yearly mother in the UK, who like me, has an affinity with pens, both that you can draw with but also unusual designs. This one has great weight and writes like a dream. No idea of its history as I haven't seen another one like it!
Is it maybe enameled? It is cool!
Not enameled but printed graphic that had some kind of clear super thin 'tube' that I guess has been deteriorating that once protected the image but is slowly congregating towards the 'nib'. It's all part of its functional history!
