Fix my mechanical bank?

Hi all.. My little mechanical beauty takes my coins and the lever works but the counter doesn't count..So I'm poor in perpetuity according to him.

Wondered if anyone knows if this is fixable? If so any references to how to do it myself, or who might fix this sort of thing would be greatly appreciated.
