    Hi all,

well, I'm stumped again. This appears to be the work of Vita Giorgi, an Italian who lived in Mexico and has shown in NYC, Mexico and Europe.

I believe it's a watercolor. Title: "A-14 Nadadora"* signed in pencil by Giorgi. On back is "20" in pencil. The painted part is indented 1/16" and is 5.25" x 5.25". Overall size is 8"x7.5" on archival matt paper.

    *Nadadora means "swimmer" in Spanish.

    What is its creation method?

      vetraio50,
      thank you.
I don't think it's an etching. I'll explore your idea of an aquatint.

      vetraio50,
I believe you're correct re it being an aquatint. Do many artists today do this?

Lithography? They usually bear numbers for the quantity produced and the artist signature in pencil below the picture.
