Rudolph Valentino Coin "The Eagle" 1925 Mark Strand Theatre Brooklyn NY
I have read that the Strand Premier coins were thrown to the crowd by the Rudolph Valentino.
Movie synopsis:
A wanted Russian lieutenant becomes a masked vigilante seeking vengeance upon the man who stole his family's land, only to fall for his charming daughter.
From the internet:
A coin token from the premiere of Rudolph Valentino's The Eagle (UA, 1925). The gold tone coin has an image of Valentino as his character Vladimir Dubrovsky on the face of the coin and reads "Rudolph Valentino in 'The Eagle.' " Reverse of coin reads "World Premiere/ Nov. 8, 1925/ Mark Strand Theatre." These coins were given to audience members at different theatres around the country with the name of the theatre imprinted on the coin. Valentino was caught in a mob of fans at the Mark Strand Theatre in New York and was said to have thrown these from his car window in an effort to distract the crowd.
Diameter, 1 1/4 inches

Note the winning bid on this one - but it was in better condition than yours (coin-token gradewise);
