Oil painting on canvas.

This item was inherited, and was originally in a very old tattered frame. It has no artist signature, and the only Marking is a number in the bottom left hand corner 5215.
The item appears to be oil on canvas, however it is very intricate, so could be a photo touched up with oil paints. The backing paper appears to be hand made. It also has a stamp on the rear of the painting that it was framed by J hooper in Adelaide, Australia. No known age.

Any assistance in identifying greatly appreciated.
