My Grandma's Whiting & Davis Mesh Bag

This purse was my grandmother's. I don't know how old it is but it of course has the " Mesh Whiting & davis Made in the USA" written in blue on white/cream tag and it's stamped on the metal frame with the W&D logo along with "Made in USA" and it has the number 2896 stamped inside the right of both frames. Any info you guys can tell me about my purse would be awesome! :)
