This egg is 7 1/2" long. Apparently they were made in Western Germany as it does say "Made in Western Germany" on the inside. As it is marked Western Germany this would be post WWII.
As you can see it shows a happy duck family going for a walk and has an interior lined similar to a vintage trunk.
