    Thanks to vetraio50...
I managed to find out this prize of my mothers...
She is called the Seamstress Produced by Polonne from 1973-1991
Handmade and Hand Painted one site states, but not sure about the handmade part... Does appear Hand Painted.

Thanks vetraio50, your help is very much appreciated.

      Looks Russian to me.

But I don't think the marks are 'Gzhel' ....
One of the great Russian makers.

Thanks Vetraio, I will at least have a place to start a search....
My father was a photographer, and my mother and him traveled the world, and always brought items back, my dad was good at keeping records of his purchases but my mother not so much :-)
