This is my... 1940's? Military Carpenters/Engineers Tool Kit, Box 4

I have been a builder all of my life, so when I saw this at a garage sale I thought it would make a great permanent tool box just to put stuff in. When I got it home and looked at it more, I found that it may be quite collectible. I have only found one other, in much much worse shape. I am considering donating it to the local vets for fundraising, but I'm not absolutely sure what I have.
In the meantime, I use mine as a dry bar :) .
