She is made of composition not porcelain . Composition did not hold up well over the years but your doll is in very good condition not los of flaking or breaks . She dates 1930-40,s . I can't read back of her neck but you think it spells effanbee ?

Thanks Manikan, yes,it does read EFFANBEE,and forgive my ignorance,I thought composition meant stuffed body and bisque head and limbs,Thanks to you,I learnt something today.

Effanbee is famous for the Patsy doll which many companies copied . Your doll has a bit of her look . Most of their dolls were on bodies made of full composition . The cloth body type like yours were often called mama dolls . Does it have a hard box in middle of stomach ? The early Patsy Baby had a cloth body . From angle of yours I believe that is who you have but I need to see hair shape better with no hat on .

It does not have a cloth body, entire body is composition.
