      These are great camping knives. I have the same pattern made in US, and also Japan. I would say it is a 1960's vintage. You can tighten it up by tapping on the pins using 2 small drifts of the same dia. Place one in a vice centered on the underside pin, then place tho other drift on the other side of the same pin, and tap gently. Same theory as bucking a rivet.
