just to show this iraqi issued gasmask ,this is an exported m1c from the former yugoslavia who at the time had good trade links with iraq ,this mask is a licence built version of the us m9 a1 ,the exhale valve has perished perhaps due to the high desert temperatures ,there was fine white sand remnants inside the filter coupling when i unscrewed it
