The back of this cup and saucer reads “Atelierkunst SMM Handgemalt.” I assume that SMM are the initials of the artist/decorator. Hangemalt means hand painted. Atelierkunst, I believe, could be translated as studio art. That’s all I know. My mom gave it to my daughter on our last visit to Germany.
