I have an elegant footed tall pitcher with a blown glass handle and a pour spout.
It is marked Bohemia Crystal made in CZ Cmoslovakia, I believe it says.
It has platinum looking rimmed top and bottom., frosted roses that ar cut in. It also has a darker metallic gold leaves.
It is 12" tall 7" across from handle to spout, with a 3 3/4" wide base.
Can you help identify this pied?
Thank you, Sharon
Hi Sharon, your label actually says "Made in Czechoslovakia" and is a label that was used since 1965, I believe; here is a link to some vases with similar labels: http://www.glassbudvases.co.uk/bohemiaglass.htm
The trademark is still current, based on what I have seen on this site: http://trademark.markify.com/trademarks/ctm/bohemia+crystal+made+in+czech+republic/003473171 so I think that at best we can say your pitcher dates from the mid-1960's-? It is an elegant piece, and I love the roses! :)
