Can anyone help me figure out what this is? Baby tub? I've been searching and found only one other similar to this but it had no information.

Perhaps more pictures AND some dimensions would make it easier to help you. Is this in the USA ? Europe ?
Looks like a "bain de siège" in french, roughly traducted as butt-tub!
Doesn't seem beeing porcelain, rather enameled wrought iron/steel, with lion's paws feet, first part of 20th century.
Usually encountered like this one, no faucets!

I agree with the other size may help it looks to big for a baby bath but I do love the claw feet
