Does anyone know what kind of sofa this is or if it may be from a designer?

wood strip & hairpin/u-shaped legs on the front

I have a special love for this sofa - it makes my mouth water- but my husband is not enamored. I thought if we had more info he might develop a stronger appreciation and be open to it being a permanent member of our household:) Any info would be most appreciated by my sofa and I!
