    We are trying to identify some pieces that belonged to a family member who was an anthropologist, but didn't leave identifying information on some pieces! We think these are from South America? One is a soldier [this one also likes possibly Chinese?] and the other has wonderful painted body and clothes. Thanks for any info!

      the black one looks Andean. i think it's a watchman blowing a conch shell or something like that. the other one looks like santa claus! very nice!

      actually, the other one looks like a dwarf or hunchback - who were often cherished amongst many native american peoples.
