Jamie West had a different head and torso than his brother Jay. Jay had snap ship while Jamie has a shirt with a fringe.
But the Jamie on the left is a hybrid. He has a Jay head with factory painted brown hair and the Jay body. Sometimes at the Marx factory close enough was good enough. If not enough Jamie heads were available just use a Jay head and paint the hair brown. There are also Jamies with blond hair that went into Jay boxes.
The one accessory left out of Jay post is the 10 gallon hat which the Jamie on the right is wearing.
Middle Jamie was made in Canada with a slightly darker caramel color. These stand up to time much better than the American figures. It wasn't a problem back when they were being sold. They weren't meant to last over 40 years.
Last two photos are all the items available in the Best of the West Sseries and I will post them eventually.
