    very interesting wall pocket I picked up at the local estate auction...I thought it might be for incense but the holes on the bottom are very puzzling...
    it is approx 8" tall and 2.5" across the top and 2" across the bottom...1.5" deep...
    it also has cut outs on the front on the top and bottom...
    any ideas anyone?

      Chinese. Says 1917 but it looks way too new to be that date. It's a chopstick holder. You put your washed chopsticks in it to be dried and used.
