Cuckoo Clock

This clock was given to me and I do not know it's history. I would like to know more about it. There is a stamp that says it was made in West Germany but I do not know when. The bird cuckoo's once on the half hour and the number of hours on each hour. The second door reveals a man that plays a tune on each hour. The diameter of the clock face is 2.5 inches. The clock is 12 inches long from the top of the bird to the end of the bottom leaf. The house is 7 inches wide and the roof is 9 inches wide. I do not know if it was painted when it was made or after.
