Although i despise people who turn perfectly workable treadles into useless pieces of furniture. i have to say i am very tempted to turn an old treadle into one of these as i need a sewing chair and it would go so well with a treadle machine and it is still kind of being used for its purpose.
I agree on the frowning at needless destruction of good treadles but this stool is really fantastic.
It would look great with your old girls!
