My Mom's Marble Coffee Table

This piece belonged to my mom, Ann. I believe it was purchased in the 60's. Mom cherished this marble coffee table. It is approx. 60" long,
18" wide, and 14" heigh, 3/4" thick with ornate curved sides and Queen Ann legs (gold plated, cast amalgam). It is very heavy at 75 lbs.

My mom was always concerned about two things with this piece:
1. The grandchildren didn't fall and hit their heads' on the marble
2. No one put everything on the table -- because it would stain the marble :)

It became mine after my dad passed, 11 years after my mom.

I wish I knew more about it. If anymore has anymore information about this piece I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
