Patsy Ann was one of the most beloved dolls of the time -1920-30s . She was copied by many companies as a Patsy look a like , Effanbee is authentic maker of her , Your is by them and they still make reproduction's of her today. Yours from what I can see is in beautiful condition but always better to see nude for damage . She is wonderful .
Patsy dolls are arguably the second best-known doll to come out of the composition doll era, second perhaps only to Shirley Temple dolls (sculpted by the same doll designer as Patsy!). They are also one of the dolls to come out of the 20th Century that have been produced the longest--off and on since 1928. Patsy was designed by well-known doll designer Bernard Lipfert. She was meant to represent a 3 yr old

Thank you for all the information, is there a way to tell what year she was made? I wondered how old my mother was when she got her.

Hard to say exactly as they were made over a period of time . 1930-40 . They are still being reproduced today although not in composition .

They did put one out in 70's also . I need a close up of face please :-)

I posted some more photos, took off the clothes if that helps determine the age.
