Lovely clock...rapidly ticking away as if time is running out!

I believe the chimes to this clock are called Westminster? Still chiming away on the hour and every fifteen minutes!

As seen in the pic, the 'pendulum' or weight is not attached to the ...whatever it should be attached to, hence, the rapid ticking.

How do i attach the weight inside, how do i slow it down , how do i stop it ticking ??

Can anyone give me info on this clock please, it is anxiously ticking away as if it will explode at any moment

The pendulum fob and the extension attach to the "pivot" in the center of the movement.....photo #4 the up and down thingy that is in the center top of the brass..... don't mind my terms use, trying to describe were might understand. I'll find a video of something similar to give you idea.

      Hi Kerrry,
      Thank you so much !
Its been in the shed for some time. I cant have it in the house...because time is literally running out with this clock.

Do you know anything about the make or how old it is please?
It does have a name inside 'Perrivale' also a small engraving of Brittania sitting on a clock

Without closer veiw, I would be guessing. But if I were to guess.... Smiths Empire.... around 1930's - 50's
Great looking clock, but chiming on the quarter hour would be a touch annoying.
      Thanks for sharing
