These spoons gave from my father in law, I swear he is emptying his house into mine, LOL. Can anyone read the hallmark. My husband thinks it says US Pewter, I thought it said DS Pewter. Does anyone know what these spoons were used for or why they came in a box of two?

These are referred to as Georgian era rat-tail spoons. They are later re-makes though.
