Did some picking this past week and came across this really cool fan. Looks like some type of a shop fan. Was really dirty, the motor was clogged with dust and it needed a new cord. Took care of all of this. Anyone know anything about this fan, when it was built and what it was used for?

    Thanks

1955-56. Was designed for home use according to an old advert I saw. Most of the old fans could be used for home or work as they were rather solid.

I recently found not one, but TWO of these beautiful roll-about Emerson sea breeze fans. One of them works great (we use it all the time on our porch in the hot Mississippi heat), and the other one doesn’t work. Any advice?? Also, I need to figure out how to take off the front grate to clean it. Thank you!!
