    I would like to get more information about this jug: I cannot find photos of this pattern online, and I don't know when it was made. My parents may have purchased it in Scotland, or it could have been handed down in my mother's family (Kirkcudbright & Paisley).

      reply to kivatinitz: I see the Buchan thistle jug for sale here: this is a popular Buchan pattern. But the photo of the base has completely different numbers, as would be expected.

      Where do you see M1-87?
