    This clock is VERY heavy. That's about as much as I can tell you. Just trying to figure out it's history. Any help is greatly appreciated.

      I don't know very much about clocks, especially not knowing the maker's marks. However, it looks like one I saw that was a French Roman Cathedral Black Slate Mantel clock from the late 1890's. That might give you a direction to go in. :)
