The winery was established by Seagram's. The bottle and label were designed by my father, Anthony Cipriano who was Design Director of Seagrams for Canada and International. He researched Spanish bullfights and artists. He purchased 3 original paintings as well as posters by the famous Spanish artist José Cros Estrems, who did the posters for the bullfights. José Cros Estrems' posters were also reproduced for tourists and on plates, etc. Pica was the rose of the Secrestat line, which also included reds and whites made from European concentrates. The winery was located on the TransCanada highway just outside of Montreal. The winery closed several years ago.
