My beautiful mystery Dobro

Greetings to all readers.I acquired this Dobro about a year ago, from a friend who knew little about it. It has inlaid mother- of -Pearl on the neck and body, as seen in all four pictures. I have repeatedly stumped music shop employees,as it has an A outlined guitar symbol which has yet to be identified... Anyone recognizing it provide any detail you are able to.Im learning how to play it..
