Ceramic small pair of birds holding dish

These are a pair 8" H X 6" W ceramic/chalk like material 3 birds on each vessel holding up the cups tied around each bird is a feather each cup at the balls is a bell not sure about place of origin or exactly what they are or how old any idea please comment
