    Not much known - hammer is for scale. Hook is pinned to the iron shaft so it can be replaced. Probably found at an old mine site in Alaska.

      Hey Slack. What are you calling wheel seal? The cap over the bearings?

      No, the seal is inboard of the inner bearing. It keeps the grease from coming out past the spindle base and contaminating the brakes.
