Advice?

I know NOTHING about flatware. These were my late grandmothers and I'm just trying to identify them and gather information before anything. So, all tips are welcome. Here is link to a photo album with more information:

Tips on how to identify these, whether they are silver or steel, good and honest places to bring these if they are worth anything. Any information helps!
