Cotton quilt with cotton batting. I'd say it is a queen / king sized. I think it is home hand/machine constructed. I wondered if anyone had an idea of what the pattern is - star but unsure of anything more specific. Also is anyone had an idea of the general date of construction. It is in great shape which I guess would argue for fairly new. Any input would be helpful and interesting.

I think because of the tiny triangles it's a variation of the feathered star pattern. Where did you get it? My mother is a master quilter - she would know the specifics, but - she won't communicate via internet. Thanks for posting this - I am very interested in fabric arts. Would love to see more. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for your input. I think you are correct that it could be called a "feathered star pattern". Happy New Year to you.
