I bought this at an auction years ago & don't recall what I paid for it. The top is totally open & the bottom has a 1.5 inch opening. I have not seen one like it. I would like to know what it is & where I can find more information about it. Also what is it worth?

We have one similar to this, but with a brown band. It was sold to us a funnel. I don't think that holder went with it originally. It seems like the handles are in the way.....but that's my guess. Great item.

      It's a syrup dispenser.

Vestawind thanks for the link. So I am missing the metal valve. Do you know anymore about them? What do you think about the metal holder that came with it?

By the rust mark I'm assuming it was part of it, it had to hang upside down somehow. I don't know anything other than what I found for you. Maybe ask on Mrbottles web site
