Incomplete Antique Store Find

I found these pieces while visiting an antique store. I fell in love with the set immediately as I have yet to find anything like it. It is all wood and looks hand carved. Though I would love to find out more about this set, I am fairly certain this is the result of someone's labor of love. Unfortunately for me, the antique store had these priced individually and it is an incomplete set.

Again, I love the design. If I were to find out this is not an uncommon object, I would be delighted as that means I may be able to find a complete set!
