This type of sign would hang in a visible location in a hotel or bar, letting patrons know that they only hire union workers. It has the gold seal of the American Federation of Labor.

I have a metal sign just like this one in picture, but mine says Union Bar ,not Union House. Can you tell me anything about it and how old it i

This union was founded in 1890. My guess is that it is from the 1920's or 1930's.
