Small pottery collection

Trying to identify type, age and mark for small collection of recently inherited pottery pieces. Mark is incised on bottom of all pieces and appears to be a checkmark within single quotations. Relative lived in Chicago and traveled extensively, so difficult to say where or when these were purchased.
