Found these at a flea market and am looking for help in identifying these two antique tools.

I believe that they are used to make uniform strips of wood for use in basket production.

Each piece measures approximately 13" long and they are made of steel and wood. It appears that spikes coming out of the bottom of the wooden assembly would be placed in pre-drilled holes on a bench and the wood would be pushed through the bladed tool to make the wooden strips.
