I got this from a place that let low income families get free items such as clothing and house hold items. I picked them up because they were different. I thought it would bring some flair to my coffee table. I think it's a reproduction, I don't know anything about antiques. It's a dark green color, at first glance the backing looks black but I think it's dark green.
Nice decor piece but feel it is a repro :-)
Thank you. I figured it was. I went on a site that showed the earlier version or original. It was lighter in color.
The easiest way to tell is that the reproductions have trademark detail printed under the logo, while authentic versions have it printed within the long tail of first C in logo.
