    Measures 3 3/4" high. Only stamped Japan(not "made in"). Curious to know why only one side is decorated? Makes the un-decorated side look naughty. Any help anyone can offer on the date or reasoning why would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking. Have a great day!

      This is a type of flat back ceramic - meant to be displayed up against a wall. This was produced between 1921-1941.
