My well and truly over-proof Rum still sealed.

This bottle I think is very interesting after reading about the seams and bases and how bottles have been made over time. If you pull in for a close up you will see markings actually in the glass tiny air bubbles/streaks very hard to see naked eye and more so along the side seams. The light flecks/reflections are from the flash catching the sparkle off the Rum inside, yes never been opened. the base has got me puzzled to pinpoint an actual date etc., as can be seen by the basal markings and scars there is also a seam around the very lower edge before the bottle curves into the seam. This bottle was given to me by my Father, who actually told me to drink it once he had passed on, perhaps a good way to help send him on but the over-proof and age of the label had my head screaming Nooo I don't want a hang-over. I had a couple of more recently distilled rums instead.
