Picked this up in the foothills in east Tennesse. Jug is heavy - weighs around 8 pounds. Thinking it would hold a couple gallons. Didn't see any maker marks on it. Bottom of jug shows a reddish clay coloring. The coloring reminds me of snakeskin.
