A clipped signature taken from one of Sutcliffe's art school books. Stu met John Lennon at art school in 1957 and joined The Beatles in January of 1960. He traveled with the band to Hamburg Germany in 1960...and stayed on as their bass player until July of 1961. He became engaged to Astrid Kirchherr in Hamburg...and was planning to resume his art studies in Germany. Stu began to have brutal headaches...and sadly he passed away in Hamburg on April 10, 1962 at the age of 21 from a suspected cerebral hemorrhage. He never lived to see The Beatles success.
