gift from New Zealand

I received this little doll from a penpal in New Zealand over 50 years ago. The boy's father and my father had become friends during WWII. His dad was a child in England and my dad, an American GI They remained friends after the war and we children became pen pals. She is a favorite in my doll collection. Her eyes blink, her arms and legs are jointed, she's made of some sort of plastic.
