Can anyone tell me anything about this mirror?

I have one very similar with the thin 'plywood' frame. My mirror glass is elaborately carved, and the whole thing seems newer, antique, but newer. I've always wondered about mine, too.

This one is 18th century style - and look similar in shape.

These country Chippendale mirrors were made in New England during the last quarter of the 18th Century. I saw one also called American Philadelphia mirror.
