My dad's interest in Civil War history books? Huh who knew!

My father passed on and I acquired some of his belongings. The History of Fort Sumpter was among his belongings. He was in WWII and from Chicago so was it a secret interest in the Civil War? We will never know but now I have this interesting book. Its in fair condition and has a name Henry Hall? signed in it three times with two different dates. Don't know much about the book but it is interesting to read.
