    to be honest...I'm not sure if this is my brother's from Vietnam or my dad's from WWII. Dad would say it mattered not because they served the leftovers from one war to the next! It's lemon something and I don't think I'd like to eat it.

      C-Rations were phased out starting in 1958 and replaced by the Meal, Combat, Individual (MCI) which were also packed in cans, but not marked "FIELD RATION C". Odds are this is from your dad's war, and hopefully not a left over for your brother!

      There should be a nice lemon powdered beverage mix, some nice hard biscuit/crackers and a high energy chocolate/candy in this one - Yum!
