Discovered this Teapot? at an Estate Sale about 10 years ago. It is clearly incised Longchamp France on the bottom. I cannot make out any of the other markings. I haven't found another like it and am curious about it if it actually was a teapot or perhaps water pot or oil jug. It stands 9" tall and measures 8" wide. When I researched this type of pottery for Longchamp it doesn't seem to add up. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Will appreciate your opinions. Thank you!

      Pretty piece :)
To enhance the marks, if you have Photoshop try changing the image to gray scale and sharpen. Or, go the old fashioned route..... place a piece of paper over it and color lightly with a pencil. Maybe one of these will help?
